Alternative Standings

 

In the second half of last season I decided to look at what the championship standings would look like were we still using the previous two points systems in Formula 1. For this season I've decided to keep track of those standings right from the first round of the season and shall be updating them after every race, so please do keep checking back. This is more out of interest than anything, but what would the standings looks like? Let's start with the pre-2003 system:

1st - 10pts 2nd - 6pts 3rd - 4pts 4th - 3pts 5th - 2pts 6th - 1pt

I found last season that this topic can cause great debate, so let's see if any of the points systems ever used in the sport would have or could produce a different outcome come Brazil.
